Is Peter the Rock?
Having gone to a Catholic school growing up, and married to a wonderful woman who was born and raised Catholic, the questions about the Pope, Peter as the "rock" of the Church and other things will always be present even as we get closer to the Orthodox Church.
I found an interesting article that studies this topic, and summarizes that Peter was an equal to the other Apostles.

But, to be honest - until one chooses to seek the truth and believe there's no way of changing one's opinion. For me, growing up Orthodox, the "infallibility" of the Pope was always hard to swallow as was those Orthodox bishops who thought they were above Christ.
Conclusion? As long as our family is growing towards Christ, the administrative parts of the Church established by humans who had ulterior motives can easily be ignored.
