Depressed, but there's always hope!
Facebook is awesome. I can't stand myspace, friendster, orkut ... perhaps when I was 17 and looking for a girl, it would have been great. But, right now at this stage in my life with a beautiful wife and really amazing children, the only social networking site that is organized, easy to use, doesnt disclose my every action and has no annoying ads pop up in my face is facebook.
More importantly, through facebook I've met so many Seminarians, Deacons and other lay leaders of the Church through facebook ... truly is a blessing to know that I'm not just an crazy old man in Chicago trying to find a place to worship.
I try to stay away from using names as I have not asked anyone's permission, but gotta plug Steve Kurien - a young adult who lives now in New Jersey (gotta ask him why when I finally meet him). For those who are really interested in learning more, Steve's resources page is a great place to visit.

While talking with Steve, he shared more people who blog!

Hilarious! But made me realize that when I started my own blog, I failed to pick out a cool name (mainly 'cause I still cant believe anyone will actually read this). So, when I finally do meet the Street Theologian, The Sabha Advocate, the Techie Layman and the Eloquent Mouth, I need to think of something clever to keep up my street cred. :)
