Malayalee Crabs

There's a joke that has been around awhile ...

At a fine seafood restaurant, on display were the catches of the day - fish, shrimp, crabs, etc. A couple walks into the restaurant, and the restaurant-greeter-person showed the couple the specials of the day.

On one table were crabs from different parts of the world - live Alaskan crabs in a glass bowl covered by a lid, and next to them were more glass bowls containing live crabs from Russia and Japan, both with lids to keep the crabs from running all over the restaurant.

But, at the end of the table was a glass bowl full of fresh crabs from Kerala, but oddly there was no glass lid even though all the crabs were still inside. The couple was puzzled, and asked the restaurant person why this was so, to which he replied - "it's the darndest thing ... whenever one of the Indian crabs starts to crawl out of the bowl, the others reach up and pull it back in"

Yup, went to Church this morning ... *sigh*. So much potential, and all the ingredients are there for true Christian Orthodoxy. But, need to shake the Malu Crab mentality.
